God Particle Reading

On Monday, July 2, physicists announced that they had found the "strongest indication to date" to prove the existence of the Higgs boson -- a subatomic particle so vital to our understanding of space, time, and matter that the physicist Leon Lederman nicknamed it the "God particle".

The discovery, based on experiments at the Department of Energy's Fermilab near Chicago, is not the final word, but it comes close to definitive proof and arrives just before a major meeting this week in Australia, where more findings will be announced from the giant underground particle accelerator at CERN, the physics lab in the Alps on the French-Swiss border.

News of the physics breakthrough sent us running to the shelf, where books by Ian Sample, the aforementioned Leon Lederman, and others shed welcome light on this scientific milestone. Check them out on the right, and if you'd like to read further click here.

Finally, for science fiction enthusiasts interested in SF that deals realistically with cutting edge physics, we recommend Gregory Benford's Timescape and Greg Egan's Schild's Ladder.

LHC or The giant underground particle accelerator; Indeed a great project, great effort and great expenditure.  Indeed a great mind and or result but my concern is a great lapses paralled to this experiment. In other words, it will not impress everyone unless they found out the origin of the universe underlying principle, it's operation that may lead us to create or work on the future. As the 15th century French/Portuguese Doctor and Philosopher named Francisco Sanches has said," without identifying the first principle, and that nothing is known". In this regard, as the author of "All But the World is Loving ISBN 978 1 4349 8382 4; eISBN 978 1 4349 4630 0", a book on natural sciences, and that include the theory about the reinvention of solar system (sun, earth and moon) operation, the truth of a black hole (challenging the Physicist and or Stephen Hawking version in particular), the big bang, the galaxy origin and operation or the theory of  universal gravitation in general aspect with the uncovering of the most probable theory of the origin of the universe, I humbly offer this treatise hoping to contribute in this case. We have to note that the entire theory that may satisfy all the querries that put forward is Science's success.
